Refund policy

Return policy:

1) Non-returnable items:

  • Since terrariums are perishable items, they unfortunately cannot be returned. However, I am committed to providing exemplary customer service to help you keep your terrarium happy and healthy. Please refer to Section 2 below for advice.
  • Workshop tickets cannot be refunded since the venue and materials have already been secured based on the number of tickets bought.
  • Bookings for private workshops, including the 50% deposit, are non-refundable. However, reasonable adjustments to your booking may be possible. Please refer to Section 3 below for details.

2) Troubleshooting terrarium concerns:

If you have a concern about a terrarium you purchased or made in a workshop with me, I am happy to help troubleshoot the issue. Here are the steps I recommend you follow, in order, if you have a concern about your terrarium:

  1. Start by referring to the care sheet included with your purchase. You can access a digital care sheet here.
  2. Review the Tutorials section on my website for tips on how to solve common terrarium issues.
  3. If you still have questions about your terrarium, please contact me at plantedglassterrariums@gmail.com. Outline the issues you are having and attach an image of your terrarium so I can best advise you on next steps.

3) Bookings for private workshops:

  • When you book a private workshop, you will be issued an invoice for a 50% deposit to finalize your booking. The deposit is non-refundable since it reserves the date in my schedule and orders the plants and supplies for your workshop.
  • If you need to make slight adjustments leading up to the workshop, such as the number of participants or time, please contact me at plantedglassterrariums@gmail.com. I can usually make such changes possible, within reason, and will adjust the final invoice to reflect any changes to your booking.
  • If you need to cancel your booking due to an emergency, please contact me with as much notice as possible. The decision to reschedule or refund (partially or in full) the workshop will be made at the sole discretion of Planted Glass Terrariums.

4) Damaged or incorrect items:

  • Please inspect your order as soon as you receive it and contact me immediately if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item. Damaged or incorrect items must be reported to me within 4 days of purchase at plantedglassterrariums@gmail.com.
  • I am committed to providing you the best service. If the item is deemed defective, I will exchange it free of charge.
  • If you are no longer within Edmonton and area, exchanges become extremely difficult since I do not ship terrariums. In extenuating cirsumstances, please contact me at plantedglassterrariums@gmail.com so we can discuss alternative solutions.
