My inspiration for this piece is the beauty of seasonal transitions and the shedding of the old to make way for the new. In nature, fall is all about the leaves changing colour and trees preparing for winter. Trees shed their leaves to rid themselves of any pests or disease and regrow fresh foliage in the spring.

I made every detail of this door by hand with polymer clay. I prefer to make everything with my hands rather than using clay molds, so you are sure to get a one-of-a-kind product. I love the way clay feels rolling between my fingers and I hope my pieces enchant you as much as I enjoyed making them.
